Before

After

Before, this dining room was small and cramped for space. With the added clutter, it felt chaotic. After: By eliminating the microwave stand and various items more space was created. The tablecloth and cushion seats were removed as well, to highlight the antique dining room set. Repositioning the table and chairs to the centre of the room not only provided a focal point, but also allowed for seating on all sides of the table and better access of the space itself. Removing the numerous prints on the walls and focusing on just one piece of art took away from the busyness and helped to make this room a more calm and inviting place to dine.

Before, this room was in need of some major de-cluttering. After, all of the fridge magnets and paperwork were removed. The clutter was banished from the stove and shelves, cleaning took place and voila! An orderly kitchen ready to cook in!

Before, this living room was filled to the max! With an array of "stuff", the task at hand was to de-clutter and create a peaceful environment. After, the bookshelf, CD stand and small love seat (DR corner of photo) were removed to permit more space. Eliminating all of the miscellaneous types of art with the exception of the large print allowed for a more cohesive look to compliment the style of the buffet and thus aided in creating a focal point in the room. And lastly, the furniture was positioned to design a seating arrangement that was not only conducive to conversation, but also incorporated the focal point.
