Integrity First

As a graduate of one of our nation’s service academies, Georgia always brings honesty and integrity to her career and now brings it to you through her business, Five Star Staging.

A Passion for Decorating and Staging

Georgia’s passion for real estate, home building, staging and decorating was a constant as she transitioned from a career as an Air Force Officer to a career in healthcare marketing, development, and consulting.

Serving Others

Throughout her career, Georgia’s work has revolved around the theme of “serving and helping others.” And now she carries this same theme into her work through her company, Five Star Staging, where she helps people decorate their homes to sell for the most money in the shortest amount of time.

Georgia is a graduate of the internationally acclaimed Staging Diva Business Training Program.

Experience Counts

As a military member and now as a military spouse, Georgia has traveled the country for more than 20 years, staging and selling homes of all sizes and styles. Now she shares her well-honed skill through her company, Five Star Staging.

Real Life

Staging Diva presents Georgia McCurdy of Five Star StagingAs the mother of two, Georgia also understands the stress and challenge of preparing a house to sell while there are small children in the home. She offers practical, real-life advice and help. She understands that “life doesn’t stop” while your house is on the market. She shares with you her tried and true methods to make your home show at its very best!

A Plan for Action

Georgia works with her clients in a team approach, creating an on-site action plan for the homeowner. Her process works well for both the “do-it-yourselfer” and the busy working couple who wants it all “taken care of” while they continue to work.

Home Buyers Shop on Logic but Buy on Emotion

Five Star Staging will help you present your home in the best possible light to potential buyers. First impressions are everything and a properly staged home can evoke emotions that translate to more offers at a higher price point.

How it Works

In as little as 2-3 hours with Georgia, you will have begun the process of staging your home! Georgia will walk with you from room to room, re-arranging as time permits, and give you a comprehensive plan of action. She will share with you her secrets for furniture placement, paint color (if needed), cleaning and de-cluttering, space management, curb appeal, and more. Her keen eye for design will give you insight into preparing your home for a buyer’s eye. Georgia will also share her ’survival tips’ for keeping your newly staged home looking great.

At the end of the paid consultation, you can decide if you want to take on the remaining improvements yourself, or hire Georgia to do it for you. Either way, with her expert guidance, your home will soon rise to the top of the most wanted list!

“Home Staging is the perfect job for Georgia! And I have a lot of experience with staging because it has been a huge reason for my growth.” (Georgia staged a house that Tara sold in less than 30 days for more $$$ per square foot than had been sold in that neighborhood to-date!) Tara A, Realtor

Guest Room Staging

When a home has only 2 bedrooms they really have to be special! This beach condo’s guest room was uninspiring and did not say "come stay with me" to potential buyers! The beds were repositioned on another wall which allowed them to be the focal point of the room. Soothing colors reminiscent of an ocean scene put buyers in the mood to be a (permanent) guest here! Inexpensive headboards and a desk/chair borrowed from another room, make this guest room ready to move into!

Office Area Staging

This home needed to display a functional office area, and this bedroom nook was the perfect place for it. But an abundance of clutter and too much art made the room feel cramped and disorganized. Simple decluttering and the removal of excess furniture immediately made the space feel larger. By rearranging art and adding some accessories (borrowed from another room), this space now appears both attractive and functional.

Master Bedroom Staging

This Master Bedroom’s dark bedding and accessories overpowered the room. The clutter and taste-specific décor could have caused potential buyers to get wrapped up in the strong style instead of noticing the wonderful space and natural light that made the room special. The office clutter and home-gym area contributed further to making the room feel small and uninviting. Simple decluttering and removal of some furniture make the room feel larger. The addition of nightstands and lamps (borrowed from another room) help make the bed the focus of the room. The light colored linens and simple art and accessories make this Master Bedroom shine and leave a memorable impression in a buyer's mind!
