Home Definition Services
Home Staging
The initial consultation with Home Definition will take approximately 2 hours starting at the curb and includes the exterior and interior of your home. Recommendations will be made for any work that needs to be done, highlighting what is most important to attend to.
Home Definition will work with the furnishings in your home whenever possible. Rearranging and simplifying furniture and accessories may be all that is needed to make your home feel spacious and inviting. We will work with your budget and time considerations should renting of furniture and accessories be needed.
You can complete the recommended changes yourself or have Home Definition complete the home staging for you including the following services:
- Shopping for furniture and accessories
- Coordinating furniture and art rentals
- Trade referrals
- Final staging for pictures and open house
Organizing
You can do so much to help you improve the quality of your life and your emotional well being by making changes to simplify and organize your home. This could be one room or many rooms that need attention.
Here’s what we’ll do:
- Determine how to deal with problem areas and find the right systems and products to organize your home.
- Purge, recycle or sell unwanted items.
- Organize your space to meet your needs and help you achieve your goals.
Colour Consulting
Home Definition works with many clients who have moved into a new home or lived in their home for years and want to refresh their space. Making a change to the colour of a room will transform your space. Painting is the most inexpensive way to update your home with great impact.
Interior Redesign
How we use the space in our homes changes overtime. Bedrooms can become a home office or a project room, walls are removed to enlarge and improve living space.
To help get started with your ideas I recommend keeping a file of pages from decorating magazines. Visit model homes and condos to help get ideas for how you would like your home function and feel.

Before : This master bedroom is very busy. Placing the bed on an angle takes up a lot of space and limits floor space in the room. After : Removing the wallpaper, repainting & taking out the corner built in opens up the room and creates a more soothing master bedroom retreat.

Before : This traditional home has beautiful trim throughout in the original dark stain. The rooms are not large and are made to feel smaller with the dark colour. After : By painting the walls in a warmer tone and painting out all of the trim, the room feels larger and more inviting.
