Renée began her career in Montreal producing radio and TV commercials with advertising agencies, prior to media sales and marketing. She was successful in this medium, before she was introduced to the hotel industry in Montreal, then Toronto.
She honed her skills in hospitality sales and marketing, which depends on service and presentation. This was a perfect fit with her sense of style, which was enhanced through international travel. Having always enjoyed interior design, combined with her marketing/sales ability and outgoing personality, this was truly a career of passion. She spent 15 years with luxury 5 Star Hotels.
This experience gave her an opportunity to design and refurbish an entire 145 room boutique hotel in Ottawa, including corridors, lobby, restaurant, bar and meeting rooms. She consulted in the presentation of Paterson House, an Exclusive 5-Star Inn & Spa in Ottawa.
The Inn was so impressive, it was featured on HGTV “Homes by Design” and W NETWORK travel show “Best Places to Kiss.”
Renée continued in the hotel industry in Ottawa, before giving her full attention to home staging.

Before : Living and dining room seperated by a 3 foot wall capped with planters and no access between rooms. Wood columns and beams, stucco ceilings and grey walls and too much furniture with clutter, made it feel small and confined. After : Opened access to rooms, removing wall and beams. Replaced columns, resurfaced ceilings, bright paint, replaced and re-arranged furniture, giving these rooms space and elegance. A whole new look and feel!

Before : New bathroom felt tired with dark grey walls, outdated window coverings and clutter. After : Installed California shutters, painted wall and ceiling same color and decluttered. Now bathroom is airy and inspiring. Has a feeling of well-being and luxury.

Before : Dated Retro decor, awning hiding front entrance, overgrown garden, difficult to see potential of this house. After : Updated with new color and making the front entrance the focal point. Cleaned up garden, using the less is more approach. The house has a slick new look!
