As owner of Room By Room, Karen Lafantaisie goes beyond getting your home ready for sale. She can increase the appeal of your home by using proven design approaches. Karen will dress each room paying attention to detail creating a more attractive look for home buyers. Once staged, your home will be more unique, allowing it to stand above the competition.
Karen has 28 years of redecorating experience including managing her own art studio. During that time she and her husband have bought and sold 12 of their own homes in different real estate markets. She understands the stresses of moving and what is needed to help you sell quickly. She is a graduate of The Staging Diva Home Staging Business Training Program created by internationally known home staging expert Debra Gould of Six Elements Inc. Her combination of creative abilities and attention to detail will help make your home’s best features shine allowing your home to rise to the top.
Consultation
Karen will meet with you for an initial consultation during which she will complete a walk- through of your home. At the end of this consultation, Karen will provide you with a report that details the best plan to bring out the full potential of your property. At that time, you may choose one of the following options:
- You can complete all of the work yourself
- Complete some of the work yourself and have Karen back to complete the finishing touches
- Hire Karen to complete the transformation
Whatever you decide, Karen will offer the best tips and advice to help you work within your budget and time frame.

Re-design is rearranging the furniture and accessories that you already have in a fresh new way to give it a more appealing and look. You can do this before parties, celebrations or holidays. Sometimes people do this just to fall in love with their home all over again.
