Hoping to sell quickly and for top dollar?
Do more than just hope! Staging is both art and science. Debra, Creative Director of Staging Matters, spent many years in the corporate environment managing people and projects. She brings her skills of creative problem solving, clear communication and a focus on your bottom line. She is passionate about helping homeowners, realtors and builders sell quickly and for top dollar and loves what she does. Debra says, “It is important to give the buyers a wow factor from the moment they arrive, but it is critical that you keep that going from the front door to the very last room if you want to find all the hidden money in a property.”
What can Staging Matters do for homeowners?
- Minimize stress by helping your house sell quickly.
- Help you identify and create the perfect environment that showcases your home’s best features.
- Make your pictures on the internet look “picture perfect” because 80% of buyers start their search by looking at those pictures to decide which houses they want to see.
- Help you identify and prioritize where to spend your money (if any) to bring the biggest return; sometimes it is a matter of simply using what you already have in some new and artful ways.
- Manage the entire project for you, walk you through an action plan, or assist you in getting key rooms staged.
- Find the hidden money in your property by increasing the perceived value!
What can Staging Matters do for Realtors?
- Free up your time so that you can spend your time getting listings and selling houses.
- Address sensitive issues with homeowners so that your longer term relationship stays positive.
- Help you stand out from your competition by decreasing the time your listings are on the market and maximizing the profitability of each property.
- Create environments that will show well in pictures and in person.

What others say about Debra Rosser
“When I contacted Staging Matters our house was already on the market. Debra was very helpful about fine tuning details and saw things I hadn’t thought about. When we were finished our house looked like a model home and had a style that I knew people would remember. Debra helped us during a very difficult market. She was easy to work with, direct and provided sound advice. After staging the changes were so dramatic that our Realtor updated all the photos on our MLS listing. Debra has an artistic eye for staging.”

” …building our new house and then needing to sell our old one in a hurry was very STRESSFUL. You came in with a very detailed plan of attack and within a week had every room looking better than we could have imagined. Our house sold within 2 weeks of going on the market and made almost $10,000 more than expected. Other houses in our neighborhood just sat on the market. The best part was using your services again when we moved into our new house!”

Before the Formal Living room had way too much furniture and clutter competing for the attention. After removing personal items, family photos and almost half of the furniture the room is still interesting enough to get a buyer to stand and look around but without all the distractions. The focus is the beautiful windows and the room is visually restful enough that they will get noticed!

This Master Bedroom before is cluttered, dated and uninspired. The lamps and bedside tables are mismatched and the bedding is dated. After adding one new bedside table and a pair of matching lamps the look is coming together. Finishing the look is the updated bedding, a warm wall color and iron art piece. The room looks pulled together and much more inspired! Master Suites are always important to buyers.

When this room was empty it was hard to tell how furniture would fit. After adding furniture, art and accessories the room feels warm and the fireplace wall becomes a much more dramatic focal point. Leaving a room vacant is a mistake. People buy homes, not houses, and you must show them how they could live in a space.
