Meet Patricia Donaldson, Creative Director and Company President of Upstaged By Design, providing Home Staging and Redesign Services to the Real Estate, Residential and Business markets.

Patricia assists Real Estate agents and their clients to sell homes faster and usually at a higher price. She helps home owners that are ready for change but not necessarily ready to move, reduce clutter and beautify their living space and she helps people with downsizing issues as well. She is thrilled when her clients express amazement over the difference it makes and how easy it is with her expertise.
About Patricia Donaldson
She credits her many years experience while managing a hardwood store, where she exercised her creative flare in the Paint and Wall Treatment Design and Decor Center. She quickly built a reputation for her keen eye and sense of style that helped many customers and their families transform their homes into their dream space. Friends and family sought her out to ask for guidance and advice.
Down the road, when she opened her Swimming Pool and Spa Showroom she naturally designed a spectacular display floor for the perfect consumer experience.
Her showroom layout was featured on training videos to demonstrate to new retailers how to make the best of their space and turn it into a positive retail environment.
Eventually she found that she wanted to make this passion her full time work. She sought out and trained with one of the industries most successful trainers in this field. As a full time professional now she looks forward to helping her clients to realize the true potential of their homes value, whether for personal style and comfort or to sell.

She has built a great working relationship with many trades people in the industry and that enables her to refer trustworthy contractors for every aspect of the project at hand. Cool and Sterile to Warm and Cozy... With personal shopping done by Patricia, a new duvet with matching drapery brings life and comfort to this master suite. The removal of the bench from the foot of the bed opens up the flow of the whole room. A relaxing retreat to come to after a long day.

This room lacks a sense of purpose and personality.. From a dull unloved space to a formal living room!
As there is a family room, plus a den in this home, Patricia took the opportunity to turn this into a entertaining space. By adding colour through accessories which could be changed out for different seasons with very little cost involved. The furniture arrangement was done with visual and traffic flow in mind.

This dining room was very plain and uninviting.. From Bistro to Fine Dining!
This home was fortunate to have an eat in kitchen as well as a dining room, so Patricia decided to create a dining room where one could have the fine dining experience in the comfort of their own home.
This transformation was achieved using vibrant table runners and matching chair toppers, a flower arrangement in the center lent charm, and by adding in the greenery she was able to bring it in harmony with the adjoining living room.
