It’s all about boosting the perceived value of a home and making it stand out from the competition. Home stagers help buyers see that if they don’t buy your home fast, someone else will beat them to it.
Why? Because a home that’s properly staged looks so much better than the other properties in that neighborhood and price range. So, in a hot market, you’ll have more buyers outbidding each other. And in a slow market, you’ll attract an offer faster than the other homes in your neighborhood.

An 8 city Coldwell Banker Realty study of 2,772 properties, priced from USD $229,000 – $4.8 million, found that staged homes sold:

- At 6.3% over the asking price compared to only 1.6% for properties that weren’t staged.
