Jane Ramirez began JR Home Staging to help homeowners become successful home sellers.
Jane knows how important it is to not just sell your home, but to sell for top dollar and quickly! Jane’s first staging project was her own home, a 2 bedroom / 3 bath and loft condo in Prince William County, Virginia, in the Spring of 2006. At the time, the real estate market had started to slow and was flooded with condos that had been lagging on the market for months. In Jane’s particular neighborhood, there were over a dozen condos for sale – all had been on the market for several months, and many of them underwent sizable reductions.
Jane has always enjoyed interior decorating and design. In an effort to expedite the sale of her home, she used her skills and staged her home, from top to bottom. Jane’s home went on the market in mid-April 2006, and was the highest listed condominium unit in the neighborhood by over $15,000. Sixteen days later, with multiple offers in hand, Jane’s unit sold for above asking price.

Working with JR Home Staging
The first step to staging your home is an in-home consultation. Jane Ramirez will arrive at your home having already researched your neighborhood. She will identify your ideal target audience and will know what your competition compares with your home. Both of these items are key factors in determining a successful staging strategy.
The consultation will include the following:
- Walk thru of the entire property (both inside and outside – romancing the buyer begins at the curb, before a buyer ever steps foot in your home)
- Provide layout alternatives and re-arranging of furniture, if requested
- Provide color recommendation
- Recommend priority list of “To Do” items.
